Head out of Hereford. Get on to the Main road A465 Which is the Hereford to Abergavenny road. Stay on this road, 5 miles or so until you come to a Shell Petrol station on your Right. It also has a "Londis" Sign above the Shop. Directly after the petrol station turn Right. Follow the road through, passing through Thruxton & Kingstone. This road is taking you towards Hay-On-Wye. You come to part of the road that dips into a small hollow, straight on will continue to take you to Hay-on Wye, you need to turn Left marked with red boarders on the turning. Go through "Vowchurch". Keep following the road through "Turnastone". If you go round a corner to see a very old garage with 2 pumps on the left you are on the right road. Follow the road as it goes into another dip. on the right you will see a small white sign directing you to turn left for the "Upper Gilvach". Don't turn Left here carry on to the next Left by a red brick small community hall on your left and turn left here. Follow the road past the houses and you come to a long open stretch. Keep going until you go down into a sharp dip and see another sign for "The Upper Gilvach" on the Left. Turn left Here. As you drive down this road go past house on your left, we are the next house on your right set back off the road with a long drive.
